We are seeking a strategic and driven Director of National Sales to lead our sales initiatives and foster long-term relationships with high-end clientele.

The Director of National Sales is a crucial role that requires a visionary leader with an exceptional track record in the luxury hotel sector. This individual will be responsible for driving sales strategies, exceeding revenue goals, and nurturing strong relationships with corporate accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Consistently meet and exceed room night and revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Solicit new and existing accounts through telephone solicitation, sales calls, site inspections, and written communication to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze current market conditions and competition to adapt and optimize sales strategies.
  • Research, develop, and sustain marketing opportunities within corporate accounts.
  • Enhance and deepen relationships with existing corporate accounts.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
  • Accurately complete documentation within OPERA and uphold thorough account information.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Effectively coordinate and execute site visits for prospective clients.
  • Diligently follow up on leads within a 24-hour period to maximize opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in the luxury hotel sector, with a proven record of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to close group business sales and consistently surpass sales goals.
  • High School Diploma required; a college degree is preferred for enhanced understanding and strategy development.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to aptly represent the high standards of the organization.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong preference for candidates familiar with Opera/Micros systems.
  • Willingness to have flexible work hours and travel as needed to fulfill business requirements.
  • Ability to act as an ambassador for the organization with professionalism and integrity.
