Visit San Antonio is seeking a strategic, analytical, and collaborative leader to serve as the new Director of Market Strategy.

Visit San Antonio markets the city as a leisure and convention/meetings destination for the purpose of positively affecting the local economy. Visit San Antonio works with both private and public entities to promote the destination and is primarily funded by hotel occupancy taxes. San Antonio receives 34.4 million visitors annually and the hospitality industry delivers a $13.6 billion economic impact.

The new Director of Market Strategy will be responsible for sales analysis and strategy support for Visit San Antonio. The major roles of this position are to implement market strategies and processes to optimize and maximize revenues. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and will also work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Finance, Marketing, and Tourism Departments, as well as the hotel industry. The director may exercise supervision over assigned staff.
