Visit Corpus Christi is seeking a genuine, transparent, visionary leader to serve as the new President and CEO.
Visit Corpus Christi is a 501c6 Destination Management Organization contracted by the city of Corpus Christi with a mission to strengthen our community by sharing Corpus Christi with the world. The organization is primarily funded through Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) paid by visitors while staying overnight in hotels and short-term rentals.
The President & CEO of Visit Corpus Christi is the Chief Executive Officer responsible for providing overall leadership, strategic direction, and management of the organization, including the Corpus Christi Sports Commission and Corpus Christi Film and Music Commission in its mission to brand, market, and sell Corpus Christi as a tourism destination. This position reports directly to the Visit Corpus Christi Board of Directors and is accountable to the Board on all aspects of the performance of their duties and responsibilities. The President & CEO is responsible for establishing the organizational structure and delegating authority to the executive leadership team while leading the overall entity toward objectives consistent with the overall mission and strategic plan.
