The Senior Sales Manager, will drive group sales growth, foster lasting business partnerships, and contribute to the ongoing success and reputation of this world-class destination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently provide engaging, proactive guest service while supporting a collaborative sales team
- Identify, qualify, and solicit new business within an assigned territory to achieve group sales revenue targets
- Develop and execute strategic monthly sales plans and maintain accurate client records
- Promptly manage and respond to complex sales inquiries and opportunities
- Organize and lead site inspections, sales calls, client entertainment, and familiarization trips
- Build and sustain long-term partnerships with key accounts, industry organizations, and travel partners
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and manage sales processes using property-approved system
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least five years of group sales management experience in a luxury hotel environment
- Strong familiarity with the New York City market preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals in a fast-paced, results-driven setting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and hospitality sales/property management systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse, remote team, with flexibility for travel and non-traditional hours
