Overview

SearchWide Global has been retained by one of the world’s largest and most respected hotel companies to identify a Senior Sales Manager for a premier Miami property. This is an on-property role with flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, based on performance.

The Senior Sales Manager will partner closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) to create and execute a strategic vision for the sales team. This role requires balancing proactive and reactive selling, developing and maintaining key accounts, and supporting sales team growth. Success will be measured by total hotel room revenue, group bookings, F&B contribution, market share performance, and overall sales training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Incorporate marketing initiatives to support group sales strategies and activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of the competitive set and recommend strategies to drive results.
  • Partner with catering, revenue management, and national account teams to maximize revenue.
  • Lead group sales production efforts, including setting and monitoring goals.
  • Develop the sales team through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Conduct regular analysis of industry intelligence reports (STR, Hotelligence, etc.).
  • Deliver monthly group sales results and updates to leadership.
  • Ensure accurate and detailed account management through Delphi.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of sales experience with proven selling skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Delphi.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into results.
