The Seattle Convention Center is seeking a credible, loyal, influential leader to serve as the new President and CEO.

Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, a city with innovative minds and a vibrant arts scene, the Seattle Convention Center is within walking distance of world-class hotels, restaurants, entertainment and attractions. The primary role the Center plays, is to provide venues in which people can gather from around the region, the nation, and the world to share ideas, celebrate and learn. But our role goes well beyond that. The Center has a longstanding commitment to positively impact the lives of those in our region and beyond, advancing the common good. The legacy of our civic actions for the community holds as true today as it began over three decades ago.

The Public Facility District Board owns, manages, and oversees, two state of the art convention center facilities about 2 blocks apart in downtown Seattle, 3 parking garage facilities with 2200 parking spaces and a marshalling yard that services both facilities. The Arch building has 205,000 square feet of exhibit space, 2 Ballrooms, 30,000 square feet and 15,000 square feet respectively and 65 meeting rooms. The Summit Building has 250,000 square feet of exhibit on 2 levels, a 58,000 square foot ballroom and 61 meeting rooms. There is also 40,000 square feet of retail managed by the district in both buildings.

The President and CEO has overall responsibility to the Board of Directors for the general management of business activities and other affairs shaping the future of the Seattle Convention Center Public Facilities District (SCC PFD). The President and CEO provides leadership in orchestrating the development and execution of Board directed policies, strategies, mandates, and procedures established by the Board of Directors. The President/CEO will provide the highest level of management, integrity, and service to the district’s needs and in the service to clients and the general public.
