Overview

A luxury hotel chain and management company is seeking a motivated, creative, experienced leader to serve as the new Area Director of Sales and Marketing.

The Area Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive internal and external sales and marketing strategy and related plans to maximize overall hotel revenue market share and optimization of profit returns for all hotels for all markets.

Specific responsibilities include overseeing sales efforts and for overall positioning of hotel, brand communications. Interact with both internal and external customers to achieve brand clarity and product uniformity. Maintain close relationship and collaboration with Corporate Brand and Marketing Departments. Work with Revenue Management, Commercial Sales and departments, Marketing and Business Development to ensure Rate & Occupancy goals are met.

Qualifications: 

  • Five or more year’s previous management experience in the sales and marketing experience within the Travel Industry is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Adobe Analytics, Sitecore, Oracle Opera, Synxis and or other similar system experience is preferred.
