The Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications is responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of all marketing, branding, communications, and promotional initiatives for the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). This leadership position plays a critical role in driving visitation, enhancing destination awareness, increasing visitor spending, and positioning Cabarrus County as a premier travel and tourism destination.
The position works closely with community partners, hospitality stakeholders, local government officials, tourism industry leaders, and agencies to showcase Cabarrus County as a premier motorsports and entertainment destination with shopping, family-friendly attractions, outdoor adventures, charming downtowns, and more.

The Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is a globally recognized destination marketing organization accredited through Destinations International’s Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP). Its primary mission is to promote and market Cabarrus County as a visitor destination.
The CVB also represents and supports the interests of the local tourism industry while fostering public awareness of tourism’s economic and community impact. Funded by a portion of the county’s room occupancy tax, the organization operates under the auspices of the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority.
